Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions from couples and planners:

How do I book you?

In order to reserve your date all we need is a signed contract, which is done digitally, with the 50% retainer. Most of my weddings book 7-12 months in advance.

Do you shoot on film?

Film is an amazing medium and one that I use at every wedding. Something about the permanence and tangability of film makes it real and timeless. I process and scan all my own film and it is all part of the art for me.

How would you describe your approach to a wedding?

My approach is very simple. I want your wedding day to be 100% about you and your partner. My goal is to capture genuine emotions and events. I will never ask you to put on your dress again or put your shoes on 3 times. I want you to experience the day as it is happening and not have any recollection of me being there. Even my portrait session is an organic experience where I encourage you and your partner to interact and feed off each other. My job is to put you in the right place at the right time and capture your love.

How long does it take to get our photos delivered?

I reserve 8 weeks to deliver your complete wedding collection. You will receive 10-20 previews of your wedding the next day.

Do you have insurance?

I have a $2,000,000 insurance policy. I have my insurance agent send over a Certificate for the venues that require.

Do you travel for weddings

I take on a select number of weddings that require travel. Please reach out for more information.

How many photographs do we receive in our gallery?

A wedding collection is somewhere between 700-900 photos.

What equipment do I use?

Leica M10R, Leica Sl2, Leica Sl2s, Leica Q2 Mono, Contax 645, Leica m9, Leica M9 Mono, 50 Noctilux, 50 1.4, 35 2.0, 21mm, Canon R5, 28-70, 16-35, Various Point and shoot Film Cameras
